  I can understand people believing in a grand designer, but why the leap...

  from the grand designer to jesus?.

  people always justify belief in god by saying that the universe needed a creator to balance out the fundamental forces & set things in motion, etc... or in other words an intelligent first cause (who designed the designer though?)....

  but how do we get from this ambiguous grand designer to the judeo christian god, or jesus, or al lah?

  People need a figurehead, a material connection to the invisible. If not Jesus, someone else would have filled that role ... humans demand it!

  " naturally, many disagree.. medical doctors might make a similar negative prediction concerning those who smoke, are obese, or who consume drugs or alcohol excessively.. question: even were these sources correct, does a human being have the right to select the manner in which they die, or is there a moral obligation to live as long as possible?.

  for all those that read my post from the other day, i have been asked that if i am to miss any meetings i must call one particular elder per his request.

  so on sunday i woke up and decided to stay home from the meeting and test my theory that this guy is on a power trip.

  i "had a headache" which in all reality was a small hangover from the night before.

  I'm sorry "Brother Call Me," My first concern was my heavenly Father, ... well perhaps if you would open your Bible to Psalms 17:6 and that will explain my actions: "I myself do call upon YOU, because YOU will answer me, O God." So, you see "Brother Call Me," you're a day late. I did make the important call ... yesterday.

  From my corner , there remains only one legal reason that bookstudies have been removed. The WBTS wants no responsibility for violations that occur in a private dwelling. This is another example of allowing the ground soldiers to fight the enemy and die while the Generals remotely call the shots from a place of safety.
